Understand that the day care is very concerned about child safety. They will not release the child to someone that is not known to the staff or that you have not given prior, written consent to have access to the child. If you are planning on having someone else pick up your child, notify the day care well in advance.

Remember that your child will spend several hours a day at the child care facility, so make sure that it is the best possible match of you, yourd.child or children as well as for your schedule. Plan to work with the day care to make this experience positive and happy for your child.

One of the hardest things that you have to do as a parent is find someone else to help you to care for them. Yet, this just does not have to the so bad when you know that the child daycare provider that you have selected is the best one for the job. Spend time researching, questioning and interviewing potential providers. Don't settle for just anyone that you know or have met.
