When considering childcare centers, find out about the center's records. Each state and county will come into the center and find out if they are meeting the requirements as provided per the laws of that state. That means that they have to do so or they will be closed. Yet, there can be small things here and there that you should know about. You can ask to see these records or just question the provider.
Childcare centers often provide a number of different activities for your child. If you are unsure about what they will give your child to do, ask. In most cases, you will want to see that they follow a pretty structured day with both creative play and fine motor skill training. Yet, you want them to have some free time to run around too.
