Childcare centers often provide a number of different activities for your child. If you are unsure about what they will give your child to do, ask. In most cases, you will want to see that they follow a pretty structured day with both creative play and fine motor skill training. Yet, you want them to have some free time to run around too.

Develop a system for your child in the morning to make getting off to the childcare center easy. They should always have their book bag and needs all together the night before. Give them the responsibility of getting ready in the morning. They will love this big kid responsibility and you will love having them so organized.

Reading is part of every child's day. If your child visits a childcare center, find out if they read to the children. Instead of giving small trinkets of gifts to the teachers, they would often appreciate such things as books and learning tools. If reading is not something that the school encourages, find out why and really consider if this is the right school to foster education in your child.
